Welcome back, Lincoln family! And a special welcome to our new students, parents, and community members. GDP offers you the opportunity to meet other parents, become involved with your student’s education, learn more about our school community and organize efforts, funds, and expertise in support of our outstanding staff and student body.
Golden Dragon Project Purpose Statement
We, the parents and guardians of Lincoln Elementary School students, establish the Golden Dragon Project (GDP), a volunteer organization, for the purpose of fostering academic knowledge, intellectual curiosity, imaginative thought, and social responsibility in our children. The purpose of GDP is to enhance and support the educational experience at Lincoln Elementary, to develop a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parent involvement, and to improve the environment at Lincoln Elementary through volunteer and financial support. All parents and guardians of current Lincoln students, as well as Lincoln teachers, staff, and administrators, are eligible for membership.

The Golden Dragon Project holds board meetings and community meetings monthly throughout the school year. All Lincoln parents are welcome and encouraged to become involved with GDP. Translation is available.
GDP has funded….
- Maintenance of this website!
- New iPads for the Computer Lab and technology for the classrooms.
- Gift bags of paper towels, disinfecting spray, hand sanitizer, tissue, dry erase markers, bandaids, and alcohol wipes to over 40 teachers and staff.
- Art classes for all grades.
- The Cantare Con Vivo after-school choir.
- Parent nights and community gatherings, including the annual Lunar New Year Celebration and the Lincoln Spring Carnival.
With your help, we can do more! Join us!
Excellence * Creativity * Community
Every year the Golden Dragon Project plans community events and fundraiser events (e.g., the Fall Walk-a-thon and Spring Carnival). GDP funds field trips, music and art classes, and technology improvements.
